What Our Users Say
Don't just take our word for it. Here's what our users have to say about our Android app.
"Great"
Graham Russell
"Won't start."
Geoffrey Hardman
"I have this app on my Android phone and Chromebook. For some inexplicable reason it's just stopped working on my Chromebook. Any attempt to search for a bird just sees the app repeatedly closing. It used to work perfectly, I've changed nothing, now it's useless. Very disappointed. Hoping someone at Collins can help."
Steve Wigglesworth
"More convenient than the book but far from intuitive to use. Good, clear illustrations and the list function is handy. The Compare function could be really good but it's all to easy to tap into a species and back again, and then end up having to re-input the comparison species all over again. The app would benefit from further user testing and a feedback option - especially as it's quite costly to download."
Laura Howard
"No other book is as good as the Collins guide. The app is even better."

"Just got it, and am very disappointed by the range maps. Can't they at least put country boundaries on it? Looks like someone hand drew it on a place mat. Will update when I start to use more."
Daren Carlson
"Spot and has been for years"
Joshua Bridges
"I love the app and I use it constantly. The paper version stays now home most of the time. I would love it even more if I could add personal comments to each bird and mark that i have seen it. Plus, once the bird is in a "list" it would be nice to click on the bird in the list to see the info. E.g. If i show a list from a good birding day to a friend and I want to brag about all the cool sightings. I would love to click on the bird and retrieve the info. Anyway, thank you for this great app!"
Patrick Demus
"The app is fine, but the attempts at upselling are embarrassing."
Sam Laris
"I've just started identifying the birds around me and this app is helping massively, especially with identifying bird calls. My only gripe is that the my list function doesn't seem to have a view mode, it's all editing. Sometimes I want to go to my list and just view the details of each bird"
